Permanent Exhibition
The museum’s permanent exhibition covers an extensive chronological range, from the distant Paleolithic period to 20th-century art. Spread over three levels of the representative building, the exhibition occupies 5,000 m² of display space. The starting point for designing the new museum exhibition, involving curators from the National Museum and designers Jelena Stefanović and Igor and Irena Stepančić, was the aim to provide an open and clear insight into art and history through a balanced combination of conventional and innovative approaches.
